Research funding acquisition

Competitive Research Funding

Projects atthe Faculty of Humanities that have been selected to receive funding from the
Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology or a Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science are listed below. For each project, a lecturer from the Faculty of Humanities serves as a representative. On this page, projects funded by competitive external grants are listed together with those funded by a Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research.

Separately from competitive external funding, Niigata University established a project promotion fund in 2000 to support projects within the University. Also, in 2004, the Faculty of Humanities started providing support for projects at the faculty through a fund administered by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities. Both joint and individual projects have been funded in this way. A list of projects that have been awarded funding since 2007 are listed below.
