Location

The Faculty of Humanities is located on the Ikarashi Campus of Niigata University, nestled between the Sea of Japan and the serene residential areas of western Niigata City.

From Niigata Station to Ikarashi Campus

Most visitors arrive via Niigata Station, a major hub connected to Tokyo by the Joetsu Shinkansen. From the station, you can reach the campus by train or bus.

By Train (JR Echigo Line)

Take the JR Echigo Line from Niigata Station and get off at Niigata Daigaku-mae Station. The ride takes approximately 20 minutes. From the station, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to the Faculty of Humanities building.

From Niigata Airport

For those arriving by air, the most convenient way to reach Niigata Station is by the Airport Limousine Bus, which takes about 25 minutes. From Niigata Station, follow the directions mentioned above.

Campus Map

The Faculty of Humanities is housed within the General Education and Research Building (Sogo Kyoiku Kenkyu-to) on the Ikarashi Campus. Once you enter the campus, please look for this building.
